鈥淔ollowing the FCC鈥檚 unanimous, bipartisan approval of 海角社区鈥檚 proposal to use its licensed spectrum to advance 5G for our country鈥檚 critical infrastructure industries, the Department of Defense (DoD), its contractors,聽and their special interest lobbyists have blanketed the Hill to spread misinformation and distort the exhaustive, engineering, and fact-driven process that the FCC, under two Administrations, led.聽聽GPS will not be harmed.
“The good news is that the majority of the U.S. Senate resisted the DoD lobbying blitz and do聽not seek to reverse the FCC鈥檚 careful adjudication based on years of diligent, technical analysis,聽and consultation with federal agencies, including the Pentagon. Like the order approving our plans, spectrum decisions should be based in science and supported by the law.聽As directed by the FCC order, we remain focused on deploying spectrum 鈥� licensed to our company since 1989 鈥� for the good of all Americans.鈥�
